A Thankful Family

Fearless

Crista is fearless when it comes to the water.

That was confirmed on the

first day of vacation,

before we had floaties,

and she was mad at us for holding her in the pool.

She kept pushing us away over and over

so finally I just let go of her.

She sunk straight to the bottom of the shallow end.

Before I grabbed her to pull her out,

I could see her looking up through the water

with her big brown eyes,

and with the biggest grin on her face.

After I pulled her up, she said

"Let do that again!"

We bought floaties the next day.

Here's our fearless girl jumping off the diving board...in the deep end.

She loved it!

Since Crista was doing so well in the pool,

we decided to give her swimming lessons.

One of my closest Georgia friends, Jincy,

does private lessons

and she was sweet enough to give Crista a few.

It didn't take Crista long to catch on.

She was a little fish and loved swimming without her floaties!
