Addie Grace...Update

Since its been a while since I've updated you on Addie Grace...

so here goes!

As suddenly as Addie Grace entered our lives,

she has exited all things baby just as quickly.

She is convinced she is just as capable to do anything, everything,

that big sister can do.

And usually proves herself right.

She is quite headstrong and loves to repeat herself

over and over and over

if she doesn't think you're listening or getting it.

As fiercely strong as she is,

she balances herself out by being

super loving, kissy kissy, and my little snuggler,

which this Mama can't get enough of!

Addie is very active for an almost 2 year old!

She loves to run and jump and gallop

and has made that her main mode of transportation.

She is a climbing fool...

on the swingset, the beds, the kitchen table.

She's like a little monkey!

She loves to play with her baby dolls, color with her crayons, and read books.

Preferably Biscuit books and Llama Llama books...her absolute favorites!

But mostly she just likes to do whatever Crista is doing.

Crista is always her first choice for playing,

but she has recently made two great friends at church

and she talks about them constantly and loves to go to the nursery to see them.

Addie is talking very well now, in complete sentences!

She's started adding people's name to the end of her sentences, which I love.

For example, she'll say,

"Thank you, Mama"

or

"Bless you, Daddy"

or most often,

"So sorry Sissy".

Addie is still quite a peanut,

weighing around 21lbs.

She just grew into 18 month size clothes,

although most pants are too big on her,

she just has to have that size for the length.

She is sleeping well still,

going to bed by 6:45pm and waking around 7am.

She takes one nap during the day that last anywhere from 1 1/2 hrs to 3 hrs.
Addie has been singing her ABC's for several months now
and can count up to 11 too!
We think she's smart like her big sister!

Addie Grace is a little piggy when it comes to food.

She eats constantly, but is super picky.

She loves her carbs though and never turns down applesauce.

Anything else is iffy at best.

Addie Grace is quite animated and loves to make us laugh.

Quite often you'll find her saying,

"Watch this..."

and then trying something silly to get a grin from us.
I love all her facial expressions

and we all find her quite amusing!

Addie Grace has brought so much joy into out lives

and we can't imagine what life would be like without her!

We are certainly blessed by this little blond hair, blue eyed doll :-)
