2 Months Old

Its so hard to believe that 2 months ago today

we were welcoming little Addie Grace into the world!

What an {amazing} journey it has been so far.

Addie has been super busy lately

growing and changing and learning new tricks.

Addie now weighs 9lbs 1oz

and is 21 1/2 inches long.

She is officially in size 1 diapers and is

just now getting into 0-3 month size clothing.

She is sleeping great, between 5 and 6 hours at night

with several longs naps during the day.

She has perfected her smile and

is melting hearts with her coos.

The first thing people comment on is her eyes,

how blue and how bright they are.

And I love how she smiles not just with her sweet mouth

but with her eyes too!

Addie loves her swing and laying on her playmat.

She likes to be talked to and will usually "talk" back.

This past month has had its struggles too...

we've dealt with baby acne and

cradle cap.

But I think we're over the hump now.

Addie and I are both still enjoying nursing.

It has been such a wonderful experience,

even though it has not come easily for us.

She is most definitely a Mama's girl

but has her special time with Daddy every evening

while Mama gets a little break.

Crista still adores her little sister and wears her

"Big Sister" shirt often and with great pride.

Crista summed it up well the other day while doting on Addie,

"See, Mama, " Crista said, "Dreams really do come true!"
