Ships and Ferries

Our CC group scheduled
a fun field trip
to see replicas of the Nina and Pinta
down on Riverstreet.
Field trips are always fun,
but they're extra special when Daddy can come too!

Hanging out with some CC friends
before the tour started.
My kids LOVE this little boat
and are always asking to play on it.

Crista has made the greatest and sweetest friends
this year through CC.
We're so blessed
to have such a wonderful community of homeschoolers
to be a part of!

After the tour
(which was really incredible!)
we hit up Five Guys for lunch
with some friends.
On the way back down to the ferry,
Crista wanted to stop and take
a few pics
on the stairway.

Anytime we go to Riverstreet,
we park across the river and ride
the ferry over.
The quick boat ride is always the kids
favorite part of the day!

The weather was incredibly perfect
for a fun field trip to Savannah!
Glad we have such wonderful opportunities
to bring history to life!

Wow Just getting caught up on all of your posts. Now that I know you still get my boring comments.
I am so so gla dyou had such a wonderful year of homeschooling, it has been so wonderful for our family as well. Your school looks and sounds amazing! I LOVE the magnifying glass pictures, we have done that with small ones and just made them have a big eye, they think it's hilarious (so do I)!
My Favorite post was your wonderful muddy post! that's exactly what school is, it's not always sit and study a book, it LIVING! looks like you guys are having a wonderful spring

Your CC group is so cool. It's made me start looking into finding one around here again. We'll have to talk soon!
