F.O.U.R.

At this time,
Jake and I were marveling over
 one of our greatest accomplishments.
Counting fingers
and toes.
Admiring the roundest, fullest face
I've ever seen on such
a tiny little baby.
Getting acquainted with this new little one
that had been silently making her presence known
for months.
Today, we celebrate Addie Grace
and the gift that she is.
4 whole years,
and as long as that seems to be at times,
it sure did go by lightening fast!

We started our celebrating yesterday,
with a lunch in honor of Addie Grace.
It was a small crowd, but it was fun.
We talked, and laughed
and enjoyed the little ones
and the excitement birthdays bring!

The party was great,
and the beautiful weather we had
added to the special-ness of the day!
The kids played outside for the remainder of the day.
No naps were had
but lots and lots of fun instead!

We were thankful Addie Grace's
BFF (Best Friend Forever)
was able to help celebrate too!

Today,
on her actual birthday,
we continued the tradition.
Pancakes,
in the shape of a 4
with candles.

A few more presents to open,

and a few snapshots as well!

Addie Grace and the family
loaded up in the car
for a special Birthday Surprise!
She couldn't help telling everyone she met
she was 4 today!

We took the girls to see the movie Frozen.
Again.
They've been begging to see it
for a second time
so we thought it would be a wonderful surprise,
as we rarely go to the theater to see a movie
in the first place,
much less see it twice!
We also invited all of Addie Grace's favorite little friends
to join us.
She was so excited to see everyone there!

Ginny (the big sis), AG, Annabelle, Lilee, Crista & Gracie

We've had a fun weekend of celebrating
our littlest miracle.
We're so thankful for Addie
and how she adds so much laughter and life to our family!
God certainly knew what He was doing
when He placed Addie Grace in our family!
