Breakfast With Santa

Today was our church's annual

Breakfast with Santa.

The girls have been excited for weeks about this day.

Addie Grace woke up extra early

asking if it was time to eat with Santa.

Last year, Crista was sick

and unable to go.

So you can imagine her disappointment when earlier this week,

Crista started running a fever.

She said she couldn't miss Santa

TWO years in a row!!

So we started praying,

and I got my personal prayer warrior

(Hi CaSandra!!)

on the job too.

And you know what...

she woke up just fine today.

Healthy.

And VERY happy!

 

The girls got some great time with their BFF's today.

They enjoyed so many great activities at the church...

eating pancakes,

playing games,

a craft

and stories too!

 

 

But the real reason they came,

was to see Santa!

Crista was amazed because this year,

the Santa had a REAL beard!

 

 

We had to take a few pics with the BFF's too.

 

 

 

The girls had a blast today.

Us Mama's did too!

But the real fun happened

later in the evening,

after the crowds had long been gone

and all that was left

were sticky tables

and glittered footprints.

Our 3 families met back at the church for a

pizza dinner and to clean up the mess from the day.

We also took this opportunity to let the girls

play dress-up

and get a few pics too! 

 

 

 

It was a great day!!
