or a just day.

Its time when far away family

Its when seldom seen cousins

become your greatest friends

and spare rooms are magically transformed

into classrooms.

Where the only limitation

is your own creativity.

 

 

Christmas is when affection is given unconditionally,

unmeasured,

and without stipulation 

 

 

 

Christmas is when simplicity reigns and

brings joy

and entertainment...

without the necessity of electronics

and batteries.

 

 

 



 

 

Christmas is when love

is displayed

through joyful chaos,



 

 

palpable anticipation,





 

and ripped wrapping paper.

 

 

 

 

Christmas means being close

and savoring each moment.

 

 

Christmas is sharing the loveliest story every told,



 of Joseph and Mary

and their long journey,

the story of a

 small baby Christ-King wrapped in

swaddling clothes,

with the precious lamb and cow

making their

sweet barnyard sounds.

 

 

 Yes, that is Christmas.

Sweet and precious.

Simple, yet overflowing.

Full of joy

and

wonderful memories.
