A Whole Hand

(I'm just a little late in posting this!

Her actual birthday was Dec 23)

 

Can it really be true?

Can it really be that our sweet baby cakes

Addie Grace

is a whole hand old?!

How could that have happened

so quickly?



From the moment of her conception

until today

Addie Grace has kept us on our toes

with surprises,

miracles

and triumphs!

God has already written her story.

Only He knows how it will end.

But I guarantee,

with a beginning like this,

He has some pretty big plans for her life!





 

This year has been a big year for Addie Grace.

Her complete and focused

determination

that caused many tantrums

in her early years

has served her well this year

as she has learned

to use that determination

in a productive

and positive way. 

Our sweet girl has mastered

tying her own shoes,

double knotting included,

putting her own hair in a ponytail

and

braiding as well.

She amazes us with her fine motor control!

 

 

Addie is a ball of energy

and is found most often

twirling, jumping, cartwheeling or flipping

around the house and yard.

She loves dancing and singing

and her and Crista put on

"dance shows" for

Jake and me often.

 

This year Addie played T-ball and soccer.

She enjoyed T-ball

and tolerated soccer.

But if I had to summarize this past year in one word,

I would say,

this was the year of Elsa.

She must be Elsa's biggest fan!

 

 Addie Grace is quite animated

and has a face to go with every emotion.

She wears her emotions on her

sleeve.

She is so joyful

and squeals with excitement over

even the smallest things.

Her heart is thoughtful and kind

and she's transforming into the type of

young lady

Jake and I had hoped for.

 

Addie has really grown up in the past year.

Not just in stature,

but in her knowledge and

love for the Lord!

She has also matured quite a bit.

She likes the new freedoms that come

with being a

"big kid"

but still

needs lots of snuggles from

Daddy and Mama!

 

Addie Grace is pure joy

and we're so excited to be celebrating her

5 years of life!

She's 3'5"

weighs 33.2 lbs

wears a 4T top

and needs a 5T for her pants

for the length.

7.   What is your favorite thing to play? Leanne!!  I am the big sister, Leanne is the baby and Crista is the mommy
8.   What is your favorite toy? Leanne and my babies Ariel and Belle
9.   What is your favorite restaurant? Chick-Fil-A
10. What's your favorite thing about Daddy? He holds me tight
11. What's your favorite thing about Mama? She gives all of the love to me.
12. What's your favorite thing about Crista?  She plays Leanne, school, house, and daycare with me.
13. Will you get married when you're grown?  Uh-huh.

14.  How many kids will you have?  And what will their names be?  2.  Elsa and Ana

15.  What are you looking forward to the most this coming year?  My birthday cake!  And riding my bike with no training wheels.

16.  If you could change your name, what would you choose?  Elsa

17.  What is your greatest wish?  To go see Mamaw and Papaw!

18.  What makes you happy?  Elsa and dancing

19.  What makes you sad?  When someone takes a toy from me.

20.  What is the one thing you are most thankful for?  my family and my sissy.
