F.I.V.E

Friday we celebrated a huge day.

Crista turned five.

F.I.V.E.

That's half a decade people!

Everyone kept telling me time would fly once we had kids,

but seriously!

Five, already?!?!

We started off Crista's birthday the same way

we have for the past 3 birthdays,

pancakes with candles, and the Happy Birthday song.

But this year, she instead of plain ole pancakes,

wanted purple pancakes :-)

Crista's been talking about this birthday since her fourth birthday.

She's been planning her party for a year now.

And she's only changed her mind 413, 657 times.

{At least.}

In the end she decided to invite a friend to go to

Build-A-Bear,

then go to the play area in the mall,

followed up with a trip to Lovin' Spoons,

which just happens to be the best fro-yo around!

Her birthday was wonderful and magical and full of giggles,

just as it should be!!

Happy Birthday sweet girl!!

We love you so so so so much!!!

I'll have her 5 year old portraits and her yearly interview up

hopefully this week.
