We kicked off the summer
with an invitation
to a campfire cookout with friends.
It was a perfect day,
warm during the day
and cool after sunset.
Just right for a fire.
The girls played
and eventually found a frog.
So they made an
{amphibian habitat}
for it under the swing set.
They claimed they trained the frog
and put on a show for the adults.
It was cute ;-)
We all enjoyed roasting hotdogs.
Yumm!!
Addie Grace couldn't wait for the s'mores!
As usual, she ate her
marshmallow raw.
So, technically,
she didn't eat s'mores,
just a marshmallow!
Blessed with good friends
to enjoy life with!
We ended the night with song.
Jake and Brian play together
in the church's praise band
and they sound great together!
The guys strummed,
the ladies talked
and the kids played.
It was a fabulous evening!
