We were so excited
when we found out
that the McDonald family
would be coming down from Indiana
to spend Spring Break with us!
We love hanging out with them
and catching up
and watching the kids play together.
The two McDonald kids are extra special to me
because I used to baby-sit them when we lived
in Indiana.
Reese was my first girl and
Crista's first friend.
We have lots of great memories of those two!
Addie Grace just being Addie!
Every night this was the scene at the house.
The kids had such a fun week camping out
and I couldn't believe how well behaved they all were.
Just a little whispering and giggling and then they all zonked out.
The first night after they left
felt really quiet and lonely.
I liked having them all together again!
We took a road trip to Jekyll Island
to see the sea turtles and
to stick our toes in the ocean!
It was way too cold for the Mamas
so we just stood wrapped in the kids' towels
taking pictures!
Saying goodbye is always so hard.
How quickly that week flew by.
But we now have new wonderful memories
and lots of pictures!
