Long, Hard Day

It was one of those long, hard days....

of playing!

 

I love those special days

when the schoolwork is finished early,

lunch has been eaten

and the kitchen, cleaned.

The windows are open all over the house

because its one of those picture perfect days.

Chores are complete

so all there's left to do is

play.

 

The girls made themselves a tent

and were pioneers out west!



 

 

Checking on the babies

taking their naps.

 

There's always cooking to do

out on the homestead.

 

Yep, it was a long, hard day

of play.
