Mamaw and Papaw
came for a visit
at just the perfect time.
We had a really fun field trip scheduled
with our homeschool group
to Bee City.
There were lots to do there
and we took advantage of both
the educational and the play times
they offered!
The kids made Beeswax candles and
poured honey before
heading to learn more about Bees.
There is also a hands-on zoo
with some unique animals there.
We fed monkeys, lemurs, bunnies and llamas.
In the reptile section,
we held alligators, snakes and tarantulas
(and by we, I do NOT mean me).
By far, mine and Crista's favorite part
was the birds.
We were able to feed so many different types of birds!
They were so friendly and colorful.
Crista didn't want to leave!
Bee City was really awesome
and we will definitely go back again.
The rest of Mamaw and Papaw's visit was
pretty low-key.
We enjoyed the warmer weather
and being outside.
The kids loved having someone else to jump {wrestle} with!
We had a great weekend and can't
wait until their next visit!
