Surprise Date Night

Every so often

Jake and I

like to surprise our girls

with a family date night.

Most of the time

we keep the details a secret

until we get there,

just to add to the excitement of the night!

When we found out Savannah

would be hosting The Nutcracker ballet

we didn't waste any time buying tickets.

We knew this would be something

both girls

would love.

And we were right!

We had wonderful seats!

 

The Nutcracker was magical

and neither girl

took their eyes off the stage

for a moment.

 

 Afterwards,

we stopped by Dunkin Donuts

for a treat.

The girls stayed up past their bedtime

for this date.

We had a great time

experiencing something new

and getting into the Christmas spirit!

But most of all,

we just love being together

and making wonderful new memories

with the kids!
