So, we've made it to Thanksgiving,
finally!!
We spent Thanksgiving at my parent's house
and all the cousins,
both big and little,
were there!
The night before Addie wanted me to put braids in her hair.
She was so excited to have wavy hair in the morning.
She's such a girly girl!
Usually, on Thanksgiving posts,
people talk about the amazing food
{which we did have plenty of}
but our family is a little different.
The highlight of the day was dirt.
Yep, dirt.
The weather was amazing and the little cousins
couldn't wait to get outside.
Mama has a huge pile of dirt
so they all made a bee-line towards it.
The kids were FILTHY
by the end of the afternoon
but they had a blast.
We're lucky our family is so close
and all the cousins get along so well.
Cousins really do make the best friends!
The little girls decided to put on a concert for us.
They were hilarious
and thought they were big stuff.
Those girls stood on top of that hill and sang at the top of their lungs.
Oh to be so uninhibited!
We had a perfect Thanksgiving
and I was reminded that the things
that make us blessed
aren't really things after all.
And for that, I am thankful!
