Tonight we surpirsed the girls with a Date Night!
Crista loves date nights
because we usually do something out of the ordinary
and we keep her in suspense until the last minute.
Addie Grace loves it because she gets to eat.
Seriously, this girl eats NON-STOP!!
How is it that she's barely 23 lbs, soaking wet?!?!
Tonight we headed downtown
and filled our bellies at 5 Guys Burgers & Fries...
one of our favorite places!
Afterwards, we stumbled on a movie set
where they were actually filming a new movie called
CBGB the Movie.
Kind of cool!
Per Crista's request
we then shopped in a few local stores
before telling the girls
the real reason we came downtown...
the fountains!
They were both shocked when we told them
they could play in them with their clothes on
{of course this Mama planned ahead and packed a change of clothes for them}.
Crista wasted no time
and found herself drenched
after about 2.8 seconds.
Addie Grace politely declined our invitation.
She loved watching Sissy get wet
but she wanted no part of it.
She was happy on the sidelines with Daddy!
We capped off the night with some Gelato
and Italian Cream Soda.
It was the perfect summer evening with my perfect little family!
